The Lance pairs a long spear with a huge shield. You stay in front of the monster, guard its attacks and keep poking.

How it plays

You attack with precise thrusts and block almost anything with the shield. Counter moves let you guard and strike back.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, every weapon can also use Focus Mode to aim attacks at wounds, and Focus Strikes to hit those wounds hard. You can carry a second weapon on your Seikret and swap between them in the field.
