The Insect Glaive is a staff that lets you vault into the air, paired with a Kinsect – a bug that flies out to collect extracts from the monster.

How it plays

Red, white and orange extracts power you up with stronger attacks, faster movement and better defense. Aerial attacks also let you mount the monster.

In Monster Hunter Wilds, every weapon can also use Focus Mode to aim attacks at wounds, and Focus Strikes to hit those wounds hard. You can carry a second weapon on your Seikret and swap between them in the field.
