New heroes in 2026
The year-long Reign of Talon story brought ten new heroes in 2026 – five on day one of Season 1 and one every season after that.
Season 1 (Feb 2026)Five heroes at once: Domina (Tank), Emre and Anran (Damage), Mizuki and Jetpack Cat (Support).
Season 2 (Apr 2026)Sierra, a Damage hero in the Recon sub-role.
Season 3 (Jun 2026)Shion, a dual-pistol Damage Flanker from Tokyo's underworld.
Season 4 (Aug 2026)D.Mon, a sword-and-shield Stalwart Tank and MEKA squad leader.
Season 5 (Oct 2026)Doctrine, a vampiric Support and hero number 54. Sombra moves to Support in the same patch.
Role changes
- Sombra moved from Damage (Recon) to Support (Tactician) in the October 6, 2026 patch. Her Hack is gone, replaced by a Weaken debuff, a healing Hotfix and a new Cyberspace zone. Read the patch breakdown.
- Roadhog stays a Tank but was reworked in the same patch, with a burst-fire Scrap Gun and the new Trash Compactor.
Tips for picking heroes
