Counter-Strike 2 has seven maps in its Active Duty pool. These are the maps used in Premier and at the Majors, and Valve swaps one out from time to time – usually at the start of a new Premier season.

The latest change came with Premier Season 5 on July 8, 2026: Cache – back in CS2 since April – replaced Overpass. Earlier, Season 4 (January 21, 2026) brought Anubis back in place of Train. Maps that leave the pool aren't deleted: you can still play them in Competitive, Casual and Deathmatch.
